Week of Mar 3rd: Nothing much, and you?
The Internet's lamest newsletter

I went through all my daily pages and found that it was an uninteresting week. Things happened, good and bad, but for some reason I didn't feel like keeping a record of events. I have sometimes gone on without accounting for my day, leaving weeks without some sort of chronicle of my actions. The world will not miss what I did those days. I certainly don't.
I do wonder why I keep doing this. I've gone from one app to another in order to find the perfect (productivity, organization, note-taking, idea-capturing) system and realize that I'd be just as effective with Notepad or a notepad as I am with anything else. If I take the advice I give to students, writing is thinking. I just haven't been doing too much thinking this week.
That tracks, as well. I'm feeling emotionally shaky and do not trust myself to remain calm. Do I need more sleep? Less coffee? Fewer cookies? But, in just writing this bit, and following the advice above, what I didn't do much of this week was write. That seems to be the main factor in my emotional health.
One excuse is that my "r" key on my (ten-year-old) laptop is not working properly and the real, violent frustration I feel with this has definitely been a hindrance. It's not convenient for me to have a secondary keyboard, so I'm stuck for now. I cannot overstate how angry this has made me and I'm starting to think perhaps a $20 keyboard would make the world a slightly better place. Sigh
HBon mot of the week:
I didn't say anything remotely interesting this week, or at least nothing worth writing down, except this bit about the moon:
The moon in the sky during the day has so much more presence than at night. I think we expect to see it painted against the black sky, but there’s a depth to the translucent moon against the blue. It’s a better reminder of something out there, because where the black sky reveals the depth of space, the blue sky occludes it. Yet, the moon perseveres.
Links of the past week:
Eating my feelings: Oreo Cookie Filling Dip. I haven't made this. I ended up buying a box of Oreo Thins instead.
This Tom Henry comic expresses the frustration of being creatively funny. I, obviously, have a thing or two to learn.
Wooly Bully and look, I don't have to be the "Put It Back" lady to let you know that this is probably a bad idea.

Fierce Diety Link is my favorite Link, so I get it.
And no, I still haven’t finished Breath of the Wild.
